NRC Public Hearing on env. impacts of waste storage

As of January 2013, 2,507 fuel assemblies stored on site in its five-story spent fuel pool, with another 884 fuel assemblies in 13 concrete and steel casks outside the reactor building. It is estimated to cost $45 million to move the pool into storage, including the casks and expanding the size of the pad.
