Benefit Concert with The Dysfunctional Family Jazz Band featuring Patty Carpenter

The Dysfunctional Family Jazz Band featuring Patty Carpenter celebrates the release of its new album Come Over

with a benefit concert and potluck picnic.

 
Sunday, August 15 at 3:00 p.m.
Organ Barn at Tree Frog Farm in Guilford, Vermont.

Dysfunctional Family Jazz BandProceeds from the concert will go directly to Vermont Citizens Awareness Network (VCAN), a grassroots environmental organization working to end the use of nuclear power in the Northeast and replace it with sustainable, reliable and affordable energy generation. The event also includes spoken word sections and narrative with Verandah Porche, a musical ramble (a structured jam session in the tradition of the great Levon Helm) and a dance concert featuring some of the best musicians from Boston, New York and the local area. 

Opening the show will be local favorites The Sun Dogs.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 the day of the show.
